SADE IS BACK! [Post a Comment]
In case you have not heard, the lady born Helen Folasade Adu — known simply as Sade — is back!
We have all been hearing the titular single from her new CD, Soldier Of Love, for a while now. Well, the full CD came out yesterday and I have to tell you, the lady still has it!
Ten long years since her last recording. Sade is 50 now and is still a knockout and still sounds great. She still has the classic sound that we all know and love from her, ever since her debut back in 1985 with Hang On To Your Love and Smooth Operator.
I caught her on the Today Show yesterday morning before going to work and she and her reunited band, who themselves recorded as Sweetback during her self-imposed hiatus from the recording industry, brought it doing the title song.
