Stevie Wonder Brings His Songs In The Key Of Life To Vegas
And then some. Mr. Steveland Morris, known better as Stevie Wonder, will be the headliner in Las Vegas for New Years Eve this year at the Cosmopolitan casino. A better choice could not have been made for a headliner to take out the year. So what’s your favorite Stevie Wonder jam? Which era of his music do you gravitate more towards? His sixties Motown era as “Little” Stevie Wonder? His prolific seventies era with his string of solid music which made Paul Simon humorously say thank you to Stevie the year that Stevie took off to complete his landmark set, allowing someone else to win the Grammy for a change? His early eighties period which still had the funk but was beginning to water it down just a bit? His “mainstream” eighties period which included his Woman In Red music? His later period in music which, while nowhere near as prolific as his classic seventies period, was still respectable and respected? Chime in with your picks.
