Bassist For Seventies Funk Band L.T.D. Passes Away [Post a Comment]
Just found out today that musician Henry Davis, from the funk band L.T.D. (Jeffrey Osborne’s old band), has passed away.
Henry Davis was the bassist, flutist, and keyboardist in the nine-man funk band L.T.D. (Love, Togetherness, Devotion), which featured Jeffrey Osborne as its lead vocalist. He had originally played for the group The Friends Of Distinction in the sixties before joining L.T.D.
Now for a creepy personal observation: last night, I was dreaming. I do not remember what my dream was. However, I woke up distinctly remembering the L.T.D. classic We Party Hearty being played in my dream. How creepy is that, that I would hear an L.T.D. classic in my dreams last night and then read about the passing of one of its members today.
